About Good Signal

We’re for brands that would rather be loved than tolerated.

In the studio

Our story

Started small. Stayed loud.

Open-plan loft studio with long desks, pendant lamps and a staircase
  1. The start

    Two people, one borrowed desk.

Good Signal began as a creative director and a strategist who were tired of watching great brands play it safe. The first brief was a pop-up for a friend's bakery. It sold out by noon.

  2. The middle bit

    Growing without getting slow.

We added makers rather than managers: directors, editors, media buyers, data people. Everyone works in small mixed crews, so ideas never wait for a handover.

  3. Now

    Still independent. Still loud.

Today we're a studio of strategists, creatives and growth specialists working with challenger brands across retail, food, fitness, beauty, culture and tech.

Principles

Five rules we actually follow.

  1. 01

    Boring is the biggest risk.

Safe work disappears. We'd rather defend a brave idea than explain an invisible one.

  2. 02

    Earn the attention.

Nobody owes your brand a second look. Every piece of work has to give something back — a laugh, a use, a feeling.

  3. 03

    Culture first, channel second.

We start with what people care about, then decide where to show up. Not the other way round.

  4. 04

    Measure the magic.

Creativity and data aren't rivals. We test, read and learn so the next idea lands harder.

  5. 05

    Be good to work with.

Clear plans, honest feedback and no ego in the room. Great work comes from people who like each other.

The crew

The people behind the noise.

A mix of strategists, makers and media people who like each other a lot and argue about kerning a little.

Culture

Serious about the work. Not about ourselves.

  • Friday Show & Tell

Everyone shares one thing they made, broke or loved this week.

  • Wrong Answers Only

A monthly brainstorm where the worst idea wins lunch.

  • Field Trips

Gigs, galleries and corner shops — inspiration rarely lives in a deck.

  • Learning Budget

Every maker gets time and money to learn something new each year.
